How you become strangers again

Screenshot_2015-11-24-11-30-42

A strain of silence travails

past the winds of time

weeks and months

caught in the question of unknowing

the root of a sudden sunder

closure was not bound

only speechless chatters

by blind folded young lovers

reeling their way back to life

without another word exchanged

and I thought

this…

this is how you become strangers again

  1. Hello wordsarefullofletters, I liked this poem very much, as it I think it contains a ‘poetic truth’. It is economic, and addresses universal themes, and the words sit well together. I have read your others, but this is my favourite.
